I was really impressed with this work. You have a unique style, and the tone is consistent throughout: dark and thought provoking. My personal favorites were Coma Dreams, which reminded me of a Black Mirror episode, and Annie's Garden, which was sweet, sad, and realistic all at the same time.

“Carpenter’s songs reflect his Southern unbringing, the Southern literary tradition, and a decided sense of melodic narrative style and humor that recalls Townes Van Zandt, Robert Earl Keen, John Prine and Marc Cohn.”
